I have to tell you all about my latest obsession... making dishcloths!!! Here is a plain boring one that I knitted last month:
Here is one that I knitted after that. It's not the greatest pic, but it at least lets you see the pattern:
(you can also see the edges of Tiger's paws on the left) And here is the first dishcloth that I crocheted!
I messed up on the first set of stitches (the part at the bottom that looks different) but then I got the hang of it. I think I'm going to try this one again with a smaller crochet needle. This dishcloth was a little bit too big for me and also a little bit thicker (and therefore not flexible) than I'd like. I also knittted another one that's very cool, but I couldn't scan it last night (I had to get it wet to flatten it out a little, and it wasn't dry last night). I'll try to scan that one for you all tonight :) |
| Jana October 4, 2006 01:54 PM PDT Jana, I'm not really that admirable, but thanks! lol Leti, I know how to sew but I HATE patterns with a passion. It's like trying to read swahili. Mrs D, want lessons? Grete, It's dry, I just forgot to put the pic on my blog last night! I'm staying caught up on the new one, and I think I may know what it is!!! Wanna guess? LOL Jami, I know how but I never do it. Material just sits at my house... I've lived in this house over a year and I still haven't even moved my sewing machine INTO the house! lol Leti, I didn't!!!! It was SOOOOOOO cool to see all their little futures!!!!! I loved it! What'd you think? Jen, thanks!!!!! I'll teach you to knit if you can teach me something cool in exchange! lol Kaybee, these were my first projects with fancy stitches! I'm excited. But I still can't do socks yet. Do you know how to do socks? *thinking we could have a knitting day together sometime* | ||
