Jana vs the Bees - Round 2

Last night I came inside and only 1 bee was still in my room, but they were buzzing outside the window.  I ran to Menards and grabbed caulking (my window is REALLY old with lots of cracks) and bee killer spray.  I got this new foaming caulk stuff (not the old stuff with the gun), and kinda went a little crazy with it... LOL I have caulking EVERYWHERE.  I have caulking on my fingers, on my arms, on my clothes, on my bed, on my pillow, on the floor, on a fan on the other side of the room (no idea how I did that one!),...

Then, went out and sprayed the hole in the the window with the bee stuff.... sprayed a while, ran away, sprayed a while, ran away,....  bonded with the roomate's dog, who was in the back yard with me.

And then realized that I hadn't caulked around the lock on the window.  So I came in and found 8 bees buzzing in the window. *sigh*

They are now forever imortalized in caulking! Hahahahahaha  I took a sadistic pleasure in burying the little guys alive in the caulk....

Then I got to watch them all buzzing all around trying to get into their little hole (unsuccessfully due to the fumes from the spray *giggle*)   Of course, every time I heard a noise through the night, I thought it was a bee... so I didn't sleep the greatest.  But I'm alive, and that's what matters, right?

So, I just got home from work, and still no bees! Hopefully they'll stay gone and I can put my curtains up again (preferably before I forget - again - that I don't have curtains in the window until AFTER I'm halfway through changing clothes!!!! Hahaha I probably gave the old man next door a heart attack!!)

My goodness!!! That is the weirdest thing! I actually oberseved a bee swarm last spring while I was watching my kids practice softball. It was very scary and very loud. I would have done the same thing and covered the bees in caulking if I had it handy :) Then I would have called the kids over to witness the bees demise!

Good for you! Show those bees who's boss!

I would have been freaking out, too, and I'm not even allergic!

LOL! How funny for the bees to die incased in caulk! Those that didn't were so drugged by the fumes that when they did pass, they probably didn't even notice. LOL! I am sorry you got stung though. That's no fun.
