Lately I haven't kept you as updated as normal on my reading news. (Or any news, except car news, now that I think of it!) I have finished two more Star Trek books, and I'm currently reading four other books.
Star Trek - Chains of Command, by W.A. McCoy
In this book, the Enterprise stumbles onto a strange planet where humans are considered to be mindless slaves. Their masters, a strange race of creatures resembling chickens, have AMAZING technological advances. When the crew of the Enterprise manage to somehow become involved in a human revolt on the planet, mass chaos insues!!!!
I liked the book, especially the race of "chicken people", but I was a little disappointed with the ending.

Star Trek TNG - Balance of Power, by Dafydd ab Hugh
Wesley Crusher manages to get himself into yet another mishap! When his roomate sells a money-making machine (literally) to a renegade Ferangi, Wesley sneaks aboard their ship to take it back and is kidnapped! Now as a slave to the Ferangi, Wesley has to find a way to tell the Enterprise crew that the money being "manufactured" isn't real, BEFORE the Ferangi win a majorly powerful weapon from an upcoming auction!
I got pretty into this book. It didn't really delve to deeply into the minds of the characters, which was a bit refreshing. And since Wesley IS one of my fav characters... I couldn't put the book down!
