Sunday Spiritual Thot 3/27
Yes, I know, it's not Sunday anymore. But I think I'm going to make this part of my blogging life... Every Monday I'll post some sort of inspirational thought from church on Sunday.
So, yesterday at church Pastor Young preached about "The Search for Certainty", and one question he asked was "What do I KNOW about God?" Today I'm curious, what do YOU know about God? Not just things you've read, or things you've heard... but things that you KNOW. Post your thoughts here! I'll post mine in the comments as well.

i know that He's so good, that He will still go on and bless me tomorrow even if He knows that today, I'll do something to hurt Him. He's that good. And that makes me want to avoid hurting him in any way.=) | |

I KNOW that He IS. I know that He loves me. I know that He is faithful. I know that His ways are not my ways, but I can trust Him, for He knows what is best. I know that He died for my sins. I know that He's watching me write this message! ;) | |

I agree especially that he's the passion of our lives... when I allow God to be my passion, he definately is!

1. He loves me unconditionally.
2. He is always there when I need Him.
3. He answers me when I call.
4. He is very very real to me.
5. He is my passion and my life.
6. I know He is real because I have felt His presence. (slain by the Holy Ghost and during worship.)
Oh, yeah, I have no doubt my Heavenly Father is real. | |

After thinking about it a while (okay, actually during the rest of the sermon LOL) here's what I came up with:
1. He's real
2. I can trust him
3. He's faithful
4. He cares (I know, most people would put the word "love" here but I just not to that place yet... too many strings attached, to overwhelming to think of)
5. He answers when we ask him questions
6. He affirms me, strengthens me, and fills me so I don't feel empty and needy. | |
