Well, I finally finished reading "The Betrayal", by Beverly Lewis. 

I am shocked to say that I didn't like it.  Bad things happened to the good people, good things happened to the horrible people, and it just generally made me unhappy. The writing itself was great, the characters were very real, I got attached to them... which made it all the worse when bad things started happening to my fav characters!

Overall, it did NOT make me feel warm OR fuzzy inside. 

Very distressing.  *shaking head*  I hope her next book is a little happier.
