No, I didn't finish my things for the knitting or crochet olympics... sorry to disappoint!

However I DID finish East of Eden!!!! FINALLY!!! After reading on it for a month and a half! A MONTH AND A HALF!  I don't think it's ever taken me so long to read a book! LOL

Anyway, it was VERY GOOD!  I love how he developed his characters SO well.  I love how he took you through their lives, describing their personality and their inner thoughts far more than their looks.  Some of the things that happened were kinda wierd, and the end of the book (from the time Cal is rejected on) is not as developed at the rest... like he was in a rush, or being pressured by an editor, or something.

Definately one of my favorite authors now, so I'll have to read some of his other books!  I highly recommend it!!!!!  On a scale of 10, I give it a score of 9.7  :)
